IEEE R10 Adhoc Committee on Entrepreneurship and Innovation

About

At the dawn of the twenty-first century, a revolutionary wave began to reshape the commercial landscapes of the world. This was not a mere shift in business paradigms, but a radical reimagining of what it means to create, innovate, and disrupt. Today, as we stand amidst the echoes of this transformation, we find ourselves in the contemporary age of startup aspirations—a period marked not only by a surge in entrepreneurial spirit but by the birth of enterprises that embody the very spirit of disruption and innovation.

IEEE constituting academicians, industry leaders , investors and mentors can contribute in an effective way in this endeavour. Prof.Lance Fung, Director, R10 has initiated an Adhoc Committee on Entrepreneurship and Innovation with an objective to hand hold, support and mentor Entrepreneurs.

We are closely working with IEEE Entrepreneurship as well as other Regions who have ongoing activities in this area.

The Objectives of this Committee are:

  1. To assess the awareness and capabilities among IEEE Members in R10 on the subjects of Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  2. To raise the awareness and capabilities among IEEE Members in R10 on Entrepreneurship and Innovation through pilot projects.
  3. Grow our reputations and presence among Entrepreneurs through our services.
  4. To make recommendations to the Region on strategic plans to continue improve the capabilities among IEEE Members on Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
