Dear IEEE Colleagues

Hope you and your family are doing well. I see that in most of the countries of Region 10, we are returning to pre-covid times and, of course, we are embracing learnings from the recent past. But we need to be vigilant, careful and we must take all precautions to be safe. We are still dealing with uncertainty in terms of event planning, and it is going to take time to organize fully in-person events. In the meantime, we must be open with online options for our programs and activities.

In 2022, Region 10 EXCOM meeting was entirely virtual, whereas we could organize Region 10 Annual General Meeting in a hybrid format with great success. The physical venue was Hyderabad, India. I am happy that Region 8 Director Antonio Luque traveled to Hyderabad to attend the meeting.
